The road to Manchester City’s Eastland stadium basks under new floodlighting

Following Manchester City can be a bit of a roller coaster ride, even the club concedes that. However, the expansion and refurbishment of Manchester City’s Eastland stadium will probably be one of the brighter events in the club’s history. All the work was done in the close season, and it included new lighting for areas that surround the ground.

BDP lighting specified products from We-Ef for the project. They were FLA740 floodlights 150W HIT-CE with asymmetrical side-throw distribution to illuminate one of the main access routes to the stadium, and FLC240 floodlights 70W HIT-CE with medium beam distribution to highlight the café, bar and shopping areas around the stadium.

Also, FLC240 gobo projectors were used in the demonstration areas outside the stadium.
