Exterior lighting company Paviom has been chosen to support a two-year study into how cities can balance the need to create urban identity with a low-carbon economy.

The project is a collaboration between the Helen Hamlyn Centre at the Royal College of Art and the Megaman Charity Trust Fund. The project aims to explore the psychology of lighting the public realm and the practicalities of place making while reducing energy use.
