Lighting industry set research challenge

The lighting industry has been challenged to discover what specific lighting works best for different forms of sight loss.

The Thomas Pocklington Trust urgently needs research to fill in missing data and help improve the quality of lives of people with sight loss. Most existing research is for people with normal vision, it said.

It wants to know the specific needs created by particular eye conditions.
