Lux Towers get festoon lighting

Over 300 metres of Exhibitor Series festoon lighting has been used at More London, outside Lux magazine offices

Tokistar’s Exhibitor Series is a specialised wet-area festoon lighting system. Using 0.48W LEDs enclosed by clear globes 500mm apart, the lighting creates a link with the existing large globes along the Thames walkway between Hayes Galleria and Tower Bridge.

The luminaries operate at 24VAC and consume 0.48 watts, allowing traditional lengths of run to be increased to a maximum of 150m. The 40,000 hour lamp life reduces time and money spent on maintenance.

Tokistar products are exclusively available in the UK through the Light Projects Group.

Public lighting energy consumption falls

Energy consumption from public lighting in the UK fell by 56 gigawatt hours between 2010 and 2011.
