While LED products form the main thrust of the new introductions, there are also two new fluorescent luminaires, reflecting the fact that there are still many applications for which this established technology offers a more appropriate solution.
The first fluorescent product is a new version of Cooper’s Linergy luminaire, which provides a T5 fluorescent alternative to the discharge luminaires that were traditionally used for high-bay and low-bay lighting. Having been re-engineered to enhance its efficiency and downward light output ratio (DLOR), Linergy II is available in 4 x 73W or 4 x 49W models. The luminaire can be specified with a high-level PIR detector for occupancy detection and a built-in photocell for daylight harvesting.
The Lecenti T5 fluorescent luminaire offers a choice of flush and semi-recessed high-efficiency optics delivering direct and indirect light. Emergency output is supplied via a discreet LED with purpose-designed lens, delivering superb optical spacing and distribution.
Foremost among the LED introductions is the high-efficiency RXS LED recessed circular downlight, which offers two low-profile housing sizes as well as an IP65 bezel option with an easy-to-clean design. Providing excellent uniformity, distribution and glare control, the luminaire is available with fixed-output, 1-10V or DALI dimmable control gear.
For emergency lighting applications, the i-P65 product is a versatile LED fitting that can be used on escape routes, in open areas or as an exit sign with a viewing distance of 20m. Sealed to IP65 standard to prevent the ingress of dirt or moisture, the luminaire features low power consumption, an environmentally friendly NiMH battery and an LED life of 60,000 hours.
Micropoint 2 is a tiny recessed LED luminaire, which has been designed to provide unobtrusive and aesthetically pleasing emergency lighting in a wide variety of applications. Now offering IP44 ingress protection, the fitting is particularly suitable for use in moist environments.
