ACDC receives Queen’s Award

ACDC has been named winner of the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade 2012

The Lancashire-based lighting specialist has won the award for the first time for its achievement in overseas earnings, recording an overall growth of 90 per cent over a three-year period.

ACDC’s chief, Gareth Frankland, said: ‘To be awarded this prestigious award for our outstanding achievements in international trade is something we are all very proud of. In additional to a network of over 60 distribution partners worldwide, ACDC has a satellite office in Dubai and is set to open a London studio this spring.
