Prime Light buys Arlen EFA

Lighting components supplier Prime Light Electrical has acquired Telford-based rival Arlen EFA, one of the few suppliers of electronic starters.

The acquisition extends Prime Light’s product range to include the Arlen EFA Pulse Starter, ballasts, terminal blocks and other accessories, and will significantly increase the company’s turnover.

Michael Cole, director of Prime Light, said: ‘We have had considerable success for 20 years bringing well-supported, quality products to the electrical and lighting industries and we are committed to developing and building our offering to meet industry needs.’

Arlen EFA was previously part of the Nexus Industries group, which also owns Masterplug and BG Electrical.

Based in London, Prime Light has exclusive distribution rights to manufacturers including BJB, Ensto, ELT and Elkamet.
